Back in the (recording) saddle again...

As the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer; as bright periwinkle Hydrangea push forth their last plump-but-delicate blooms of the season; as leaves begin their descent to the ground for the impending long winter; as all around us turns bright yellow, orange and red, we make pots of chili and salty stews, we light fires and, by candlelight, reflect on the beauty on the summer past and the love of friends and family.  2015 has been a musically fruitful year for me thus far: playing the Waterford Old School; CW's concerts; The Reach Resort; becoming acquainted with wonderful musicians: playing some outrageously fun house concerts; attending Lockn';  sharing timeless classics and originals with super generous audiences in Key West; Virginia; Pennsylvania; Tennessee; D.C.. putting finishing touches on "Take Me Away" and starting a new project with Ian Shaw in the Conch Republic.  All GREAT fun!

Last week found me back in the studio with Marco Delmar, Recording Arts at Bias, recording with my gifted friend, Nathaniel Davis, who composed a gorgeous song: "Tell Me Lies."  I can't wait to share it!  We'll add this, and a few more pretty ditties, to "Take Me Away" for re-release in the New Year.  Then, it's off to Key West to record at Ian Shaw's WarmFuzz Studios.  Ian makes it a whole lot of fun and recording on a houseboat moored to the island where "it's five o'clock EVERYWHERE" isn't too shabby.  I hope too for the opportunity to stretch my wings and play in other cities across this Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.  Also, trying to get a second music video underway.  So, stay tuned, Friends...Thanks for a brilliant 2015!  Happy Fall, Ya'll!
